Aem truboost controller

drop mishimoto's fan shroud from the list/oem fans are better

str8dum1 04-30-2011 02:07 PM

drop the powerlab kit and get the Momentum or Boosted Performance.

AEM water injection is a waste, I would get something better like Aquamist or not do it at all. You will only see marginal benefits. AEM wideband, way better products out there for the money look into the Innovate LC-1.

dikspiel 04-30-2011 02:12 PM

drop ksport suspension parts and get stance coilovers and spc camber kit

:werd: Innovate, defi makes really good gauges in amber to match the interior cluster gauges for that oem look. Look into the package deals

the only reason i got the fans in cause it was all one package deal..cost me less to get it all then just to buy the radiator from anyone else..but really??

i like the stance setup but i only paid 2K for the quaife lsd, ksport coils extenders and camber kit as a package deal..

ImWeeZzel 04-30-2011 03:10 PM

Im serious. I had the mishimoto fans and they werent keeping my car cool enough in the summer last year. You do know that they only have one speed and most people that run them end up replacing the idle fan with a bigger one?

I have no compains about the mishimoto radiator thus far.

Add a oil kit cooler to your list

agreed on the wideband setup..il look into the aqua mist..just running 8 pounds of boost i just wanted to run it safer on stock block is all

Not much to say that hasn't been said i agree with everything the others said, I wouldn't cheap out on meth kit or wide band they help keep your car alive.

twitch579 04-30-2011 04:58 PM

Just plan for the build now..forget about water injection. Its not gonna prevent anything..the stock block will fail, its just a matter when its going to happen.

dikspiel 04-30-2011 05:03 PM

umm it will help prevent against knock....

With a turbonetics I agree. Water or meth won't help that LOL

My OEM fans, did crap for me last summer in TX heat. I saw temps abover 240. since then I've gotten a vented hood (which dropped down 10 degrees) then the mishimoto shroud with a 14 inch spal fan wired to a pwm, and a 12inch mr gasket fan wired into the factory harness and I stay around 200 degrees and we've already had temps in the 98-100s already. Was it the most cost effective method...not sure. but, in my case, OEM fans were not sufficient.

Sylvan Lake V35 04-30-2011 10:30 PM

Now I feel silly running water meth, since it dosent do anything anyway!!!

zach711f 05-01-2011 01:37 AM

I already bouht everything on list excpet for wide band and boostcooler...i just dont get y somone would say go with turbonetics or momentum kit...please give me a good reason y i would do that..
