i run 1000's with no issues what so ever idles great fires right up with a tiny bit of feathering. why do you ask for advice then try and tell some one who is experienced in the matter off? for your power goals a 1000cc set up may be a tad big but i wouldnt go any smaller than 850's. with the tuning options available theres no reason not to have some head room
99% of the stuff I had to do is completely custom and my tuning options were subpar..
trust me when I say Im not tellign any body off but I was raised on the fact that
each CC in an injector can be usuable horsepower ..
So for 400 whp I would go with a 450-500cc to be safe and 1000cc just seems a bit overkill...
Lets skip the ebay turbo ********, any reccomended turbos for 6 psi and about 400whp? I want it to last me a while so nothing to crazy
Also will I need to run 2 blow off valves by each throttle body? and where is a vacumm source I can pull from
sorry for the noob questions I come from a stock turboed 5 cylinder inline 1 throttle body easy to work on motor 57 trim nos and all the goodies were hiding inside

yes you will either need a bov on each charge pipe going to the throttle body or making or getting a manifold made similar to the stillen SC manifold for the HR. as for a turbo a gt35r would get you what u want but doesnt have a whole lot of room to grow. your going to want some fuel rails a wahlbro 255 at a minimum but if it was me i would do the aeromotive 345 or the new 4xx wahlbro. and some 600cc injectors atleast (id do 850's if i were you though but you seem set against that).
I have no intention of building this motor as Im still paying the car off,
I got it for 15 grand financed @ 2.5% interest rate...not the best deal in the world but a fair one!
Do we have any intake manifold options? Ive heard someone say the 300zx manifold is better

stillen has one but i dont know if u can buy it on its own. gtm was working on a kit that fit the gtr manifold on our cars but i dont know what happened with that, i know theres a few cars around with them on. and the stock HR motor is good to 500 ish whp and high tq numbers. i havent actually heard of someone blowing an HR up yet. i ran mine stock block at 530/490 whp tq for 4k hard miles with no hiccups at all.
what do you think a 400whp HR would do in the 1/4 on a good driver?

Get a holset hx40 turbo. They are cheap to buy and oem dodge commons turbo. They make decent power. I wan one before my new power goal , build, turbo. I still have a holset h1c at home that im not using. Pm me if you are interested in it.
Much better choice than eBay turbo IMO

not really true, on the third gen camaro forums i used to frequent when i ran camaros i saw dozens of them blow, right around a 40% failure rate in the first 10k miles. EVERY one of those failures was from shaft failure, some of the shafts exploded and others had improper clearances and just ate the shafts and housings up. those guys dont care because they can replace the entire longblock AND turbos for 1k, not true on our car. most of those turbos where the gt35 knock offs as well in a twin setup, some where bigger but nearly all regardless of size where running under 15 psi, no way they where being overloaded especially since they where external gates.
also on injectors i have 0 issues with my precision 1200's

In all honesty the piping will be the easy part..Im debating should I be using 3 inch or 2.5 to the TB? Im pretty sure TB is O.D. 3 inch right??
The only hard part is going to figure out a seperate sump system with return and feed lines oiling the turbo...
Should run me about 1000-2000$ when alls done and said
