what jeff said about the no blown engines i believe is why we dont hear much from VTR lol but like i said they are a bit more then other places

also good luck with the 2JZ, even at just 700 and not building the engine looking at probably 6-10k...................plus at least that probably double that for install, plus materials for fabrication and all the other **** you will need. if you want a full built engine look at 8k just for a stroker kit.
2jz and 5spd is what, 3-3500 alone. 2jz and 6spd 6-7k alone and that is just for engine and trans. If you are looking to save money don't even consider a 2jz swap. Plenty of pros but cons as well. But let's not get too off topic, you're still spending a lot to build a TT Z the right way. Wish I would see this Z in NJ. Have been wanting to for awhile now. Good luck with it.

You really don't. Lol. Can pm if interested ha.

Yeah there's a few things that are easily missed since it's going from Supra to 350z.

Even building a vq in a Z some people forget many things and wonder why they were off Thousands during their mental thinking.

i watched a few track videos and some other dynos of this car. What did it run on pump gas? I saw the 10.54 on race gas (over 700hp dyno vid) so i assume the 10.3 was on race gas as well unless vinny ten was incorrect in his video about it being raced on race gas.

Brandon@VTR: great success on this project! Would you mind sharing your suspension and wheel/tire configuration? I am always interested to learn what people are doing to get the Z's down the 1/4 efficiently. Not many people have done that!

Very Similar engine specs to my own build, also using an 850bb kit. Have you ever run it at the track on pump gas? What kind of times? I am also interested in wheel/tire/suspention set up.

Congrats on the longevity of the build

It's you're fuel man you have a nasty hole. We added a millisecond to the NOS timer you should run 9's now.

we haven't adjusted suspension or anything, still on the 5 year old greedy type s suspension. Car is a street car so I change nothing but tires and fuel when I get on the track. No weight reduction, no two step nothing no suspension adjustments. I drive there and drive home most of the time. If anything I have added weight with roll cage. drive shaft loop and system.

If i nail the 60, car will fall right into the nines the mph is there . The 850's produce some instant torque in first, so it seems I need to calm the car down a bit in first. The car is very consistent and that's all I can ask for.
