weekend update:
She's doing alright - her demeanor is about the same (pretty high on the happiness scale) but she is still limping/hobbling around on one leg. Among of her recovery is massaging of her quads/calfs, exercising her range of motion and icing. She does fine with the massaging and icing but the range of motion looks like she is in pain. She's got a lot of bruising on her inside quad...

Got the car out this weekend - made some progress on tuning my 1st gear minimal load column - I didnt seem to make much progress last round but after a few passes on my neighborhood street, my corrections were in the single digits. I tried doing a little left foot braking, applying the ebrake and jumping up in gear to simulate load but nothing really seemed to consistently work. Might try a street with a steeper grade.

I think my (few-years-past milf) neighboor thinks I'm stalker her ... I stop/u-turn right in front of her house and peck-away at my computer, leave, cycle back around and play with the computer some more...Im surprised she hasnt called the cops.

^something I didnt know is that a dogs ACL gradually degenerate overtime so ACL tears are almost inevitable...both my preventative care vet and the 'second opinion' vet said that when one goes the other side is right behind it...

I liquidated about $1500 of welding equipment, sold a bunch of engine parts (thanks to GoatofRaffin & TTreber) and drained the emergency fund to pay cash for her operation...I better start saving...

^nah, pet insurance is unsmart...put those monthly premiums in a bank account and self-insure.

The pup is doing better - bruising has almost completely gone away and she's letting me test her range of motion a little bit more. I started taking her on the small 3-5 minute walks and things have improved greatly with her using her hind legs like she used to. She still has a little 'gittty-up' and wont bear full weight on her leg while she walks but she is doing better. If it's one thing I would have done earlier it'd would have been take her on these micro-walks the day (or second day) after her operation

This weekend:
continue to rehab the little lady
hoping to get the car out tomorrow
might buy another VQ engine
I decided to coach youth hockey - player evaluations tomorrow night
gonna grab a drink/cigar with my buddy Mark tomorrow night

despite the weekend full of stuff to do I had a chance to relocate the pre-turbo oil cooler. Found a deal on some AN-4 earls steel braided line and some earls fittings to complete the task. Been meaning to do this for a while now.

Dont know if this is played out but I'm gonna roll with it for the time being. At the end of the day I am still one fitting short...I need a 45* bend to avoid the serpentine belt tensioning bolt...it's hitting the feedline. ****!

@bealljk I have two questions...
1) what intake temp you have on full boost when you do the pull to redline?
2) Could you tell me what ignition timing value you have from 5000RPM to redline and full load?
I understand that you run about 7psi of boost and stock motor?

^^ She continues to do better and her incision/scar is healing very nicely. Still doing range of motion and the walks

^Ha!! I've only taken it to 4500 rpm on minimal minimal minimal load...I can send you cheat-sheet / good starting point that I got from the gents at High Performance Academy if you are interested. I'll make a mental note of what my IATs are next time I'm out. The car is down until I get that 45* AN4 fitting in. No, it's a IPP stage 3 setup. If youre interested in tuning check out High Performance Academy - they are awesome!

Yes please send me this cheat-sheet. I'd be very appreciated. I've PMed you my email.
I have twin greddy 18G, running 7PSI of boost and my IAT is about 54*C at full boost... dont know if it's much or not?
Don't even know if it's real reading because I use HPX-N2 MAF which might have different readings than stock MAF...I use Uprev software to calibrate engine and values are collected by datalogger...

Micho every tune and car will be different. I would not try and mimic anyone elses tune as you will probably damage your car. IAT's are different depending on humidity/ambient temps also. You just need to custom tune it yourself or pay someone if you don't have the knowledge to do so. Bealljk is also going for way more power than you and has a fully built setup and is using Haltech, not uprev.

^very valid point JDM, I didnt give him my table, I gave him what HPA gave me for a basic starting point for V6 engines. If they felt comfortable passing that out as their course material then I think Micho will be fine using it to track his 5500rpm knocking.

I doubt his knocking is due to his ignition timing table in/around 5500rpm, assuming it's isolated to 5500rpm - I think it's something else that is influencing his overall ignition calculation.

@bealljk
Thank you again for this ignition table... I'll check if this work when I finish with my engine

I tried many things to get rid of my knock... and few days ago I decided to dismantle my engine and remove carbon deposits from combustion chamber and pistons... Have some pictures. This "bad one" is after chemical cleaning without removing header... Just imagine what was inside before cleaning... I only have a picture from endoscope camera but on another computer.
I found that I need to replace my con rod bearings as well. Anyway... I think or I hope that was the reason of my knock... What do you guys think?

Before (but after chemical cleaning through spark plug hole)

After cleaning
