Default Nismo 370Z Single Turbo Kit Build - S&R Performance

We're very excited to announce that we've just started on the fabrication of the 370Z Nismo Single Turbo Kit build. This car came to us from North Dakota and we've been working on wrapping up some other Single Turbo Builds to get started but now, it's up!

This build will consist of a Precision 62mm CEA, Turbosmart Gate and Valve, Uprev Tune and some S&R Custom Fab.

Be sure to check back for a ton of update, pics, vids and graphs and we progress in the build.

Here is a direct link to the FB album that we'll be uploading pictures to.

I don't understand your question. This is an HR and will be like the other HR Single Turbo Kits that we've produced already. We've already done a 350z HR, G37 HR and this is our first 370Z Chassis build with our kit.

Well technically it's a VHR. Maybe he just wants to make sure the kits are backwards compatible.

sorry for the misunderstanding. We do make this for the 350Z and 370Z HR Configurations.

ok, we FINALLY have been able to get back to this project and started really ripping through it. Check out some of the pics.

We've got 3 days of production into it so far. We've got a new OS Giken clutch kit on the way for this build and some odds and ends to finish up and the intercooler and charge piping gets started tomorrow. =)

Default More Turbo 370Z Pictures

Hendo has been hard at work on the 370 and it's just about done. I thought you guys would enjoy some new pics of the progress.

The beauty of SS V Bands and properly support brackets.

The exhaust is routed into the factory style dual rear section.

We're building the whole kit to work with the stock strut tower bar on other factors.

I'll be posting more pics through out the next few days as we wrap up the car.

sorry for the delay in the pics, folks. Been a very busy week. Anyway, here are some of the pics of the completed fab work. =)

We've just finished the fuel upgrades and we're installing the new OS Giken Twin Plate and prepping her for the dyno!

any reason you are running the intake piping right over the hot side?

there really is no where else to run it and we wrap the hot piping and put a turbo blanket on the turbine housing to keep it all as low as possible. we've seen 0 temp issues with any of these builds and that's in FL heat, driving in traffic and such.

I gotta tell ya...that blower is just in the WORST place...I mean that sucker is going to be hotter than hell and it butt's up against just about everything that you want kept cool. The hot side is right up against the CONNECTOR on the intake
No amount of wrapping is going to prevent that intake (and the motor) from getting torched.

Tell you the truth there is more room than you think. The turbo is coated and it has a blanket. The intake temps remain the same from side to side, its really no difference than having a aluminum cold air intake that gets heat soaked after 20 mins.
