vortech/stock block let go...so *knock on wood, reliable build thread ;-)

Not much worse than it was before. It's truly only ALOT LOUDER at WOT. Just driving around it's slightly louder but not crazy. The car gets trailered to and from the track so drone was never an issue I worried about. Car feels to pull much much stronger. I may toss her back on a dyno see what changes going from a tiny exhaust to a big one would make

When was this 'new' blower released?
Is it ok just to swap over the blower if you have an existing kit or will it not make the power?

I think about 1-1/2 years ago.
Yes you can just swap it. But don't use this on a stock motor unless you turn it very slow.
It will make crazy HP, just look at Colombo's dyno on 93 octane @ 26 psi

Does the below mean you need bigger intercooler then the one which comes with the v3 kit? This is from Vortech's product page for the v2 TI:
V-2 Ti Tuner Kits Important Note
Tuner Kits with the high flowing V-2 Ti supercharger head unit DO NOT include a charge cooler, as the standard 350Z/G35 charge cooler is not capable of supporting the significant airflow capability of the V-2 Ti compressor. Customers looking to utilize this system will need to source their own charge cooler capable of flowing sufficient cfm to support the V-2 Ti supercharger.

Vortech just sells a tuner kit as well as a full kit so you can choose the compontents you want, that said, you absolutely need a better intercooler. I've done a ton of research on ic's and I have found that Treadstone make quality ic's for a very good price. The oe I use, and the one you should get to run with the V2 Ti-Trim is a TR-1245. It's a perfect fit for this application. It's also the that I recommended to Colombo for his setup with the Ti-Trim, and it works great for him.

From your research, do you know what the limit who is of the intercooler which comes with the v2 and v3 kits is?

The stock Vortech Intercooler is designed for the kit as they sell it.
Once you start raising Boost, Intake Temps go SkyHigh with that IC.
If you really want to make some really HP, then go with the One I suggested.
This will stop any Headeaches you will have along the way.
Note: With the TR-1245 My Intake Temps are no more than 10-12f Degrees above Ambient. And I'm Cranking on the Blower making 18-19psi.
Hope This Helps

Been a while since I updated this, the car is still running strong. A few changes have been made to the tune (increased timing about 2 degrees throughout the whole power range as well as raised limited to 7900rpm) car is holding a constant 26 possible 27 psi at redline
we managed a 167mph at the Wannagofast half mile event still spinning first and some of second, the car has a 170 in her for sure.
few plans for the near future are possible a C16 tune to see what this thing can really do in the half 👍🏽👍🏽

Amazing. My car with a vortech si blower is going in for a tune this week.
do you know what rpm you are spinning the blower at? Ti Trim is rated to 55K rpm? Think i am even faster then that ha

[Crankshaft pulley size ÷ Serpentine Pulley size] x [Jackshaft pulley size ÷ Drive cog pulley size] x [Step up ratio x Max engine rpm]
So..
(6.61' ÷ 3.12 = 2.118589743589744 ) x ( 32 ÷ 28 = 1.142857142857143 ) x ( 3.45 x 7900 = 27,255 ) = 65991.04
