Default MAC Boost Controller Solenoid

Does anyone have any experience with MAC Boost Control Solenoids? I need to pick one up soon.

This was the only thread I came across and other than some Haltech issues the boost controller functioned as intended.

I can pick up a MAC for $40 vs. the Haltech for $130 … any difference?

They are all the same. The Haltech was like $70-$80. IIRC.

I run a Mac solenoid on my Haltech, works fine. I paid $25 for it.

These are all just industrial air control solenoids. The $25 Humphrey solenoids (http://pneumaticautomationcontrols.a...ies/310-12vdc?) work just fine as well.

There's a little difference actually and nobody pays attention to it !!

The solenoids with the Brown wires are Heat Resistant and more superior to the one with the Black wires ... although you can use it but don`t place it in a very high heat places.

in the end they are all made by MAC
