Ugliest divorce in history will do that to you.

I could of bought a GTR with both of our lawyer bills. Good thing I only had to pay (ing) for mine.

might be cheaper to keep her, but a depressed witch isn't worth keeping.

So my focus is on my children. G is in the garage ready for whenever. Took me 6 months to change a $20 seal, due to lawyer demands in 2013.

I have the T trim blower which is slightly larger but the 928 impeller is very similar output, I have same compression engine, I wonder why the tq is so different?

I put this graph together a little while back when I was doing my engine build. boost : whp, engine build coefficient - 1(OEM), 2(minor build), 3(major build) and an elevation of the car. For the record - I am no longer SC'd - found greddy 18g twins fall of 2012 that I'm in the process of.

Sidenote: Divorce sucks…

^ Thanks man, for both post... Im seriously writing a book about this hyprocracy.

I need to grab a dynojet number. Looking at the boost levels above I wonder if the car my will hit 600 on a dyno other than the "Heart Breaker." Hills Dyno came from the famous GA shop too. Function Tuned originally bought this one from Forged, now Hills has it, although Hills adds a tad more of smoothing than FPerformance did when it was down there, I wonder what is the percentage lower than typical DJ numbers.

No idea diff dynos maybe make that difference.. What pulley are you on and what impeller rpm are you spinning it? This TI trim w the 3.12 seems to be making 17-18 psi at 7400rpm at 58-59k impeller speed don't wanna blow this blower up like I did my last 1 but I may toss the 2.87 on to see what the ti has in her.

How did you choose your Rev Limit?

From what frank (the tuner) told me they have/had it calibrated to dynojet numbers. Or at least very close... so I don't think it's as achy breaky as it used to be at forged or FT.

Im running the 928 , 2.87. I also now have the 34/28 cog, the stock revup I believe has "less" spin. 32/28 if I recall correctly. My guage is always a bit off from the dyno one we use, but my car has made 26psi and over 600 belt slipping the entire way but AITs were far to high (128ish), especially considering it was 34 degress in the shop...lol.

The TTrim bearings I have are good to 60-65K if I recall too. Heavy Duty ones I got from a shop in Cali but I think they are the same if not similar to the stock Vortech ones that come with the HD Blowers. I have built and changed so much I get lost. lol.

Once I fixed the SC pulley slipping with the 928, 2.87, the crank started to slip. So then I put an extra pulley in the middle of the bracket. It gave me bit more grip on the drivers side of the crank, then I elongated the idler slot so that it goes "higher" giving me more grip on the passenger side of the crank. Now I have to run the 91inch belt as to the 92.5 is tight, but just a tad too lose...once warmed up its ok but if I dont wait to warm it up good. like 30 minutes I can shred a belt on a few pulls.

I still get slippage when I go over 7500 RPMS

OLDManZ, in the UpRev Software you can adjust max rpm. My block is good for 8300 but not on stock valves/springs. 7600 is the max so far. Currently the car has full stock exhaust to pass emissions, 6500 rpms 470rwhp.

We have seen 6-9% difference from the local DJs... PTunning.

Nothing like Forged.

Sounds like your in need of a better InterCooler!!!!!!!!!!!

With 94* ATI's above Ambiant, your IC is not doing well…….

At WOT and 17psi on full run, I'm only 8-10* above Ambiant.

What IC are you using Now?

Yes in deed. I was running the EVO 10 660HP intercooler which fit like a charm but it was thin.

Since that day I now own the Treadstone 1000hp FMIC (V12 I believe) for the Supras, and I am running methanol for cooling up top. Hills wont let me claim 600+rwhp due to that reason...don't blame them.

Last major run I did with about 20 GTRs, I didn't see anything over 88 when running hard. When I stopped it hit 90-103, but as soon as I moved she went right back down. Also running stock radiator with NISMO thermostat.

Only Temps that matter, is when your on the throttle……….

HP ratings on an IC means nothing. Sizing it by the CFM is the way to go.

I have a TR1245

How you achieve HP is irrelevant. Meth/water injection, N02, c16, e85, methanol…… HP is HP……

Tell Hill Garage to Stick it!. They don't have control over your dyno's……. They work for You! Tell them you want your dyno's and you'll post them where ever you want……

So I tightened my belts some w the ti and 3.12 pulley and saw this today

Was thinking the 3.12 would only see 17-18 psi but I was wrong. Cannot wait to see what numbers she puts down. Will be heading to z1 soon

Yes equally if not faster I mean I made 608 on 18psi so should see more power w this and I am not sure I thought for sure I would since I have the pulley. But if she breaks 600 I will not. I over pushed my last blower n for whatever reason it let go. I'm all for experimenting for the community but my duty is done with this blower reliability and longevity then in the future I'll push it to its limits. Will be interested to see someone run it w the 2.87 tho should make crazy crazy power. But for what I do (road racing/autox) 6 is more then enough maybe even too much

Well everything lines up ill have one with the 2.87 pullies in Aug. I doubt ill make as much power as you since ill be about 1 mile above sea level. But like every one else I cant wait to see your results!

Best of luck. And make sure your fuel setup is above par. These things are so thirsty. And a huge efficient intercooler Aswell 👍👍
