NICE man, really effing nice!

Watch the tension on the crank. I spun a crank bearing. I would advise taking it out and changing every 2K miles. Its only a $150 part. I wish I had done it as Frank from hills suggested. You can get to it via bottom end of the motor too.

Hmmm more details? Or link to this bearing? At that price i wouldn't mind changing it from time to time. I been on this setup a year now of road racing and a half mile event.

Thanks man, was on a dynocom (reads almost identical to the local dynojet)

This is an old dyno, I'm making a bunch more power now, just no dyno chart.

Also, for information, see how the Boost goes flat at 16psi. That's just because the perimeters I had set for the graph was limited to 16psi.

Depends on your build.

Look and see if they used a stock crank bearing. Most builds do. I would change it every 15K miles to 20K miles...not every 2K lol.

Further... you can do oil samples and send them off. The results can tell you if your losing the crank bearing or not.

I will add more data later... psi, built or oem block, heads cams etc.
For examples Oldmanz and I run about the same HP. I was 10psi greater because my block was 8.8.1 compression vs his high comp stock block.

gotcha ha yea I misinterpreted what you said since it was 2k miles haha I built motor in garage w std bearings. Yea I do oil analysis through blackstone every oil change!!

Shoot, ill be happy with anything over 500hp/450tq at this point, as long as my repairs are gonna take. Soon ill post numbers as well. With the 2.87, 928ms impeller and 7100 redline I'm sure I will be fine.

Ill dump a bunch of pics here. As far as the specs I'm running, I have a stock crank pulley, 2.87 drive pulley, with the 34/28 cog setup. Hits 14psi, makes 503hp, 422tq.

The blower was designed for a 4.6L mustang, but it is CCW so it works for our cars. The one I bought was actually off of a 2011-2014 5.0L mustang. Its basically a hair under the YSI trim as far as performance is concerned. The only modification I had to make was cut 3 extra brackets off the back of the supercharger in order to make it fit the VQ bracket, and I had to switch the ports that the oil feed and drain were in so they faced the right direction.

How I received it. And the smaller blower here is a V2-SC trim

Here you can see that the JT has 3 lobes that stick out further than the V2

Paid $100 to have those brackets trimmed and a little polish work

Got a very short 4" diameter filter to fit in there

The volute is EXTREMELY close to the 2.87 pulley, but I still managed to squeeze the belt through there

And here it is running. Has a lot of whistle/obnoxious sounds at idle. You can hear them at the beginning of the video, just imagine if there wasn't a wall between my phone and the car.
