I'm pretty much new to this stuff, I'm really not looking for big power, actually hope to get a little edge in car meets and autocross. So far pretty happy with the setup.

Right now, I'm wondering about maintenance cycles, how often to clean the oil feed filter, as one who is running a 5AT is a transmission cooler and valve body upgrade essential? For my driving style I will seldom if ever be near redline, that is not what my build was for. I do have plans for a built motor, but not right now. That is why I'm sticking with the stock pulley, even though I have a 3.12. I have an AEM water methanol injection kit, but not for now, that is for a built motor. Right now my tune is conservative, for street and autocross. I just want to make sure to properly maintain what I have.

Vortech says to clean to oil feel every time you change the oil. but I've changed my oil ever 2500 miles, and did not check the oil feel in till I had the blower out, at about 20,000. And it was Perfect!

Trans with the added load a bigger trans cool is a good Idea. Heat is the Killer of Autos.

I highly recommend a TransGo ATF valve kit and separate ATF cooler if you are FI.

That is what I figured, I've put these on my to do lists and getting quotes from local transmission shops. Manual mode certainly does not feel the same now. Thanks for the reply.
