Glad to see you got your issue sorted out. When my first built motor let go, I let everything sit for a bout a year before rebuilding it. On a whim before I fired up my new motor I had my Precision 1200cc injectors tested/cleaned and I'm glad I did. My #4 was stuck too. I was running ethanol when my last motor let go. So, my fuel system sat for a year with ethanol in it.

My fuel pump filter looked fine with a few spots of dirt as well when I checked it. Did you change your fuel pump out as well?

When I first fired up the new motor, in November, I was running a single 450 pump in the OEM hanger. That pump only made it to January then I started having issues. The pump started losing pressure, so then I swapped it out for a new 450. And in April I added the CJM twin pumps and an Aeromotive in line filter. I'm leaning towards having my injectors cleaned/tested every other year. And I'll replace my filter probably every 10-15k miles as a bit of preventive maintenance

Started up the car and no misfire. Idles a bit rough on 2 month old e85 so I dumped in a fresher 5 gal jug I had in the garage. It was a bit richer at idle since the injectors are flowing much better, so I reduced some fuel comp around idle and light load tables for now and it seems to idle fine at 1100rpm. Wisest 200 dollar fix.
I do hope this helps those with pump e85 setups as I had no ideal how fast injectors would get reduced efficiency, and shorter operating life on it. Be mindful to check your injectors at least anually as good maintenance with running cornjuice.

So today I experienced some misfiring under load with regular driving that accompanied the blinking cel on the dash. I Was messing with the pigtail adaptors for my injectors while the car was running and on 2 of them if you move them a certain way, it will cause the engine to struggle at idle, so imaging driving the car and based on how much the car vibrates, it effects the connectivity to signal the injectors accurately to open and close. So some new pigtails are In order, as well as a multimeter. Car was fine these few days until now.

Interesting ...
I have had intermittent missed/non firing (no CEL though) at high engine load instances ... not sure if my pig tails are faulty or not??

Update on the car, I will be going under the knife to do some headwork on the car. Going to be running full JWT. S1 Camshafts/Springs+Shims, and porting the heads. Car is no longer going to be daily driven and will be a full on project car. Updates will be as frequent as I can. Very excited on this.

Can we assume it will still be street legal?
You have L19s right? What head gasket are you going to put back in?

I'm also taking the AC out the car as well to run all the bigger piping that came with the kit. Car will still be street legal but without AC this car will just be a weekend toy after its all said and done.

Not much of an update, but life has thrown yet another wrench in my path, good news that it's not a car issue. My HVAC has stopped working at my home, plus I need to buy a new fridge because for some reason this am, I woke up to a puddle surrounding it, and it damaged the wood underneath it, looked like it was doing it for a while but didn't notice. So going to be proritizing my racecar funds to home improvements.
There are mods I can do for free for the time being, like installing my used Setrab oil cooler upon doing my oil change soon. I also have an RJM pedal that has been collecting dust, we'll be doing this once I have time...
