Were you having wheel hop issues prior to the diff brace?

Not really, I previously had an SPL solid differential bushing and Injected Performance diff brace that cured my wheel hop, but on a back road test & tune night I snapped the IP brace and differential stud.

Oh damn, whay do you think caused it to snao?

i have been having real bad wheel hop and noticed tonight that my diff bushing is shot. Going to have to have to get a new bushing and possibly a diff brace.

I think it was just stress/fatigue, I had the Injected brace and solid diff bushing on the car for 50-60k miles when they snapped. I think a set of Z1 subframe collars wouldíve helped too, probably gonna pick up a set soon.

If you're still on the stock differential bushing moving to a solid bushing will solve 90% of the wheel hop youíre getting.

That intake is beautiful. I've never understood the reasoning behind the design of the OEM intake. Almost a 180 * curve? I'm not R&D at Nissan so I'm sure there's a reason for it, but I've always been a fan of this style since it reminds me of good ol' skewl, American Muscle.

So, it won't be priced anywhere near the CJM intake, that said you it also won't have the intricacies of CJM's lower plenum. This is a bit simpler design that keeps budget in mind. That said I think there's a substantial amount of power gains to be had on a forced induction car!

I'm hoping to have the first piece in my hands early next month, will keep you guys posted!

The factory plenum's actually designed really well for the vast majority of NA cars, I just thought on a turbo car there's a lot of opportunity for power gains to be had there

realistically the top 5 highest horsepower VQs. He's a pretty cool / down to earth guy - helped me with some tuning insight a little while back.

So i'm really looking forward to this but i do have a few questions for you good sir.

1. Will this fit underneath a stock G hood, if not mistaken little less clearance than the Z.
2. Will the volume inside the new plenum be, comparable to OEM with spacer, Kinetix, Cosworth?
3. Intake port size, meant for stock throttle bodies or will it be lager to allow the use of bigger throttle bodies?
4. Electric or Mechanical throttle body? Will it include patch harness or throttle cable?
5. Billet, Cast, Custom Welds? What material boost limits?

Just some of the biggest questions i could think of.

Thanks for your time good sir.

I'll try to answer as many questions as I can, haha

1. It will not fit under the factory Z or G bonnet, I plan on just cutting the hood and adding a beauty ring around the cut/manifold. Haven't tried to clear the HR hood, Stillen cowl might work, not sure though.

2. I've got to do some measurements as to plenum size once I get my hands on it.

3 & 4. So, it'll have the original 92mm opening, an adapter to the factor throttle body will be available, but a you could also use the LS3 throttle body, EMS permitting. I'm working on putting together a jumper harness for both options though.

5. So the lid is cast aluminum, the bottom is billet aluminum, I don't seen any limitations from a materials standpoint, no more so than any factory multi piece plenum, etc.
