Procharger without intercooler?
Has anyone installed a Procharger without inter cooler?
to decrease the air temperature, I would install a water injection.

indeed dumb...ATIs procharger is plenty big for the 8-12psi it can put without a significant drop in pressure...

IMO, it's not dumb....... People do be to quick to judge, you might learn something.
I've seen many guys at the Dragstrip on 1500-2000hp cars w/o an Intercooler for that very reason, they all run 100% Alcohol though.....
IMO, it just will not be beneficial for the street. with a Hi quality IC you can pump up the PSI and still have very cool ATI's.
I'm at 18-20psi and ATI's are only bout 8-10*f above ambient.
I'm an Automotive Engineer, and I had the privilege of working for George Wallace in the 70's and 80's and Sportscoach Motorhome and at B&M Automotive Racing Products. Prior to that he was the Chief Engineer working at Chrysler and Head of the Project to make the Worlds first 200MPH Production car. It was the Dodge Charger Daytona.....
I learned so much from this man. The biggest leason I learned was to never be afraid to take about an idea. (never worry about what other people thing) because taking about it may lead to an Awesome Idea.

is even aware you all that the ball bearings are designed in the Procharger not for more than 8psi. the ball bearings can withstand maximum 60,000 rpm. 7psi 6500 engine speed are 60,000 rpm compressor shaft.
I've installed kermik bearings but you go 80.000 rpm maximum.
I have 8psi, 7000 engine speed and 75,000 rpm compressor shaft.
so it is impossible to give more psi because the Procharger not for out put is
Hence my idea to get more psi without intercooler

What is the CFM rating and the Boost rating on that Supercharger?
