That could be just a need for further bleeding, but I found the rjm setup to be goofy like that for me. Hope you get it resolved

It was bled a million times because at first 3/4 of the pedal was all free play and I couldn't figure out why. and then I adjusted the rod and figured it out. But now this...I'm just concerned for my clutch ....

Damn... Hope you get it figured out.

Rained/stormed all day today. Was going to take my car out and looked to the west and saw this:... Decided too keep the car inside. We ended up getting over an inch of rain in about 15-20 minutes
Yesterday the one darn hail stone bounced off the hood of my car as I was making room to work on a tractor

Did you have a chance to work on the clutch issue?

We've been getting pounded by rain. Haven't driven mine in a couple days. In between rain drops I cleaned out the garage to make room for the z. Found a few minutes to put my lower valance/lip on.

So a lil update:

wired the fuel pump to a relay and got an extra volt out of it at idol. Before it was at 13.2 and now it is at 14.2

I got the chance to stop by the local dyno and did a quick pull to check up on the fuel pressure and it seems stabilized now at 50psi ! No longer sinks up top like before

I'm not sure if it was the sock or the relay that fixed the issue but i'm very happy its fixed!

So ill be booking another session with Hal to pick up where we left off

and the results are @12 lbs on about a 90 degree day:

unfortunately my turbos were maxed out very early ....it just wasnt outputting any more power so there was no point to increase boost. Looks like I may be going with a bigger setup sooner than i thought. Im in the middle of getting the ball rolling of what my next setup will be with HAL =)

but for the moment this puts me at about a little over 500 on a dynojet . For 12 lbs it seems to be around what these turbos would typically see .

Great support from Hal and the Dynosty team they are really excellent to work with !

Not sure how I would feel about those numbers.

I have had two attempts at tuning my setup when figuring out my issues. With my turbos that we're blowing oil, I was tuned to 440-445 @ 11 psi on a dynapack... This spring 451 @ same boost level on a dyno dynamic. You should have been able to get 3-4 more psi out of this turbos before they stopped making power.

What exhaust are you running again?

aps 3.5 downpipes and motordyne tdx v1 exhaust

i was hopeing to make power to at least 16 lbs but i'm willing to bet the cracked manifolds have something to do with it or the turbos are just really that tired but im not blowing any oil/smoke out of them . I dont really see any bad signs of the turbos being bad. But i can definately hear exhaust leaks clear as day comming from both sides of the car so i know its gotta be comming from the manifolds.

honestly im not bothered by it as i want to go bigger anyway. I knew this setup was going to be my limiting factor

No, the 550 was on a dynapack.

At the same boost level (and conditions) I have on the 451 chart (dyno dynamics) I pulled low 440's on the same dynapack as I made my 550.

My tune is scheduled for 7/5 with my new turbos. It will be on the same dyno dynamics where the 451 was made

so the difference between the two dynos you used wasnt to far off from eachother .....you gained about another 100hp just from another 4lbs thats nice

I wish i had such luck lol ur car must of hauled thats about 630ish at the dynojet in my area.

your new turbos im sure shouldnt have a problem with makeing what you want

can't wait to see how you make out

Well that didn't last long ..... one of my turbos has called it quits

I came home after a weekend away ready to drive my car finally and as soon as I started it I could hear a whining noise. At first I thought it was someone using an electric saw in the distance but it turns out it was my passenger side turbo.

The car is out for the season as I do not have time to pull it apart until the winter. It sounds like the fins are riding up against the housing .....

I didn't even get to enjoy it.. I'm feeling a bit sick as I didn't expect this to happen so soon. I guess this explains why I wasn't making any power past 12lbs

On the bright side I will be running Hal's big single setup from his old black car that ran 9's I bought his setup minus the turbo since he didn't have it . So I am in the market for a big single. I could buy the gt42 but i'd really like to have the new technology so I'm leaning towards the precision 7175 gen2 that Hal suggested

decisions decisions ...what do you guys think?

Oh man! Sorry to hear - have you determined the root cause of failure? Was oil cut off?

where does this single mount tentatively??
