VQ35DE Mahle 8.5:1 pistons
Hi guys,
can you confirm Mahle pistons NIS165780I05 are 8.5 or even 8.6:1 CR?
Found Mahle catalog and they say these pistons increase combustion chamber by 5cc to make 8.5 CR... I calculated that and it's not possible so sth is wrong for sure. CR or dome/dish volume.
Anyone use them in your setup?
I gonna build my engine. HP target is 600-650HP measured at crank with greddy TT kit. I'm not sure about pistons I should choose...actually about material they should be made of 4032 or 2618. This will be street/DD car. 18/19PSI of boost maybe a bit less. What do you recommend? 4032 are preffered due to PTW clearance and quiet operation but if they are good for my boost/power levels?
