#1 - Thanks for the post.
#2 - What the hell? How would raising the Octane of the fuel increase horsepower ? All that should allow you to do is increase the boost without detonation... am I missing something here ? How are you getting 70-80 more rwhp than everyone else running normal gas ? Even people with free-flowing exhausts like the Greddy Evo2 aren't coming close to these numbers. PS: This belongs in the FI forum. |
sweet numbers!
|
Those are impressive numbers. What's the price for the new exhaust, looks damn good.
|
As far as without the gas, we dynoed the car and got 401 at the wheel. We gained a little over 20hp with the new exhaust as well. Don't get confused though, my techs spent a good amount of time and knowledge to get this power after tweaking the e-manage! Thanks for looking!
P.S. Retail on the HKS titanium exhaust is $2595 |

what kinda of dyno was this done on?????
420whp is hard to belive at only 6 psi..... |
sorry 8.8 psi with 104 octane....
|
I think SP uses dynojet. 8.8 psi with 104 octane is reasonable as we have seen dyno of 8psi hitting about 400 rwhp. spz33 do you happen to have the a/f graph?
|
also it seems that you are running a test pipe so this number is definitely achievable.
One more thing how are you guys dealing with timing? Also at 8psi is the stock fuel pump enough to deliver the fuel or did you guys swap out the fuel pump? All in all great job though.. Is this Mark? If not tell him Jeff w/ the Silverstone 350 also with Greddy TT said sup.. thx. |
well there was the litltle glitch .. now we know ... he had claimed 420 at 6psi
but numbers seem very right for 8.8 psi ..... congrats on the #'s! |
that exhaust looks awesome~

good numbers.
i made 426hp/389tq at 8.5psi on regular 93 octane. your numbers are pretty close. m |
Drool TT :)

Can you post a pic of your a/f readings??? were you running rich or lean?
Jesse |
A/F readings i'm sorry are for in house use only. I can tell you that the reading is really really rich. I'm sorry for the mixup, the car was at 8.8lbs of boost. It is a dynojet. Thanks for looking.
