Peter at APS says he is " 99% sure " that APS will achieve C.A.R.B. certification for their turbo kit due to hit the USA in October some time. I wonder when C.A.R.B will materialize since I live in California and have pre ordered the kit!

Calimarc , how much is this kit going for?

How is the APS kit going to be CARB certified with a blow-off valve? I thought that was a no-no.

The blow-off valve vents back into the intake tube under low boost.....like for emissions testing....and vents to atmosphere under high boost. APS described the BOV as a 2 stage type.

I spoke with HKS yesterday and their kit is still CARB pending. ;)

I personally can't wait to see more kits get their CARB approval.

Greddy is CARB pending...unless something has changed in the last 2 months.

Actually, they have met all the requirements, they are just waiting to be issued a number

Just about every kit is CARB "pending"
That means absolutley nothing! They can be pending for years. It only counts when they can claim "CARB Approved" !

CARB is only really pertinent in California. The significance of this outside CA is only that the system will pass emissions testing in all other states. As long as it has met CARB requirements, you are good to go ouside of CA for any kind of emissions tesing, whether is has been given an official approval number or not.

CARB pending

I've never heard that the PE TT system is "CARB pending".
Last time I asked they had no intention of pursuance.
Any info contrary to this?
