do not like at all....but I am not a fan of bronzed or gold wheels....too...mmm...subaru

just my opinion.... :D

racingdynamcs Jun 26, 2003 01:58 AM

trying **** out ... tuners are not working on g35's =*(

Top Secret is putting a lot of time into the G...so we got 1 good tuner...

Tigerstylez Jun 26, 2003 02:36 AM

yeah...I do like seeing all the different looks though for the g35.

I just want to find a set of 20" volk gt-7s...haha....little gunmetal finish to through on my black g35....heh...off to dream some more....

hehe

racingdynamcs Jun 26, 2003 02:38 AM

hahaha

Tigerstylez Jun 26, 2003 02:41 AM

hey! not funny...hehe....that look is exactly what I would like to have.

I like some of the iforged wheels, but I do not like reading some of the stuff nor do i want to wait 2-3 months for them...

oh well...I will find something eventually I think...no rush...

racingdynamcs Jun 26, 2003 02:44 AM

if you really want them and have some money then i'd consider looking into used wheels man! they are just as good as new and you dont have to wait 2-4moths for them.

Tigerstylez Jun 26, 2003 02:47 AM

true...but I am not liking some of the stories coming from the boards on some of the problems they have been having. I am liking the volk name and reputation more and more as I read, but they only do up to 19s from what I can see...

oh well...

why do want such big rims anyhow?
they will only slow you down and make your car feel hevy.

Tigerstylez Jun 26, 2003 02:55 AM

I just think 20s look better on the g35 than 19s. Also I am a more looks and enjoyment driver than a speedaholic. Sure i want my speed and power, but I am not going to be tracking or anything in my g35, so going to 20 will not slow me down enough to ruin my day.

In the end I may end up with 19 gt-7s...just have not decided for sure yet. Also one of the guys at the shop where I get my work done mostly said that 19" tires are more expensive and harder to find than 20" tire because of the odd size. Which if that is true (and he would not have a reason to blow smoke up my arse) then replacing rubber would be cheaper in 20s than 19s...

I dunno...like I said no rush...I am just enjoying my ride right now, so this is all just planning ahead anyway...

Try out auto (X) crossing before you decide to buy such huge rims, it may change your mind! It totaly changed my mind on how a car should be set up.

ihatethatbobbarker Jun 26, 2003 09:49 AM

hes right, id prefer some 18in LM GT-4's on my car but they just look so small under our fenders, so first ill get some 19in TE37's and then pickup a pair of 18s for road racing.

Tigerstylez Jun 26, 2003 12:58 PM

well I will always have my stocks around if I wanted to street race or autoX to put some 18s on for lighter weight. We will see

racingdynamcs Jun 26, 2003 05:01 PM

aight ... i like the 2 sets of rims idea =)
