18's

OK...looks like you G35ers are upgrading your rims...looking for a set of 18's...wanna keep my Z "factory/stock" (ok yours are Infiniti's but hey, at least I"m keeping it in the family)...I was hoping some fellow New Englanders or someone in the neighborhood was ditching their wheels...also will a Z or nissan center cap fit in the Infinitis?? lemme know...THANKS and Merry X-MAS>>>>

You can get the JDM nissan center caps if your Z one's don't fit. I have seen a couple of Z owners with G35 18's. Your best bet is to try ebay or g35driver.com under "parts."

that would look pretty sweet, got any pics on hand of this setup?

Z caps on 18 inch Infiniti wheels

I bought the 54mm "Z" Cap from Courtesy parts and put them on a set of 18 inch 7-spoke G35 Wheels and they fit perfect. (I thhink they are the "non-track" size). That means the stock Nissan center cap will also fit.

No pictures right now, I am having an "issue" with a wheel, but when they are installed I will take pictures.

Re: Z caps on 18 inch Infiniti wheels

im doing something along the lines of what you are doing, but all i need is nissan center caps for my rims in place of the infiniti 'mt. fuji' sign. If you find some nissan center caps want to pm with the location? i am looking right now and all i can find is plain center caps.

The center caps look good Andy. How is it going with the wheel?

I got the wheel refinished at wheels america. They did a really nice job, but as they warned me the color match was not quite perfect. The silver matched nicely, but the shadows/edges looked a little different.

I probably could have put it on and most people would not have noticed. But I would have noticed it.

So, I sent the other wheel from that side of the car to the same place have it refinished. Now they should match exactly. (Sent it out on the 23rd so I don't have the second wheel back yet).

They only charge $109 + $10 shipping to strip and re-finish the wheel with powder coat and clear powder. I decided that it wasn't too expensive considering the car is brand new and I should own it for years. If it was an older car I might not have even bothered.

When I finally get all this taken care of I will post some pics. I really think it is going to look sweet and I can't wait to be driving around on the Michellin Pilot Sports!
