Building ITB manifold and plenums off the car
Can someone measure for me the spacing ( across the engine and along the two rows ) between the 4 bolts on each side that hold the lower manifold faces onto the heads.
I want to make a jig to hold an ITB setup , off the car , so I dont need to strip out the running cars existing manifolds to design and build plenums. Thanks in advance. |
LMAO, I think you would want to measure yourself for accurate results

do you have the users manual ?

Any machinist worth their salt doesn't come on a forum to ask for such key, precise measurements that if off by as little as a mm is a huge waste of time and aluminum. Hope to be proved wrong. But somehow doubt it since last log in was over six months ago. And... one can just order a manifold/full ITB setup from OBX or Jenvey. Sure, fabbing has its rewards but this -to me- isn't worth the re-engineering. |
Ebay currently has them for sale for $307 per side(OBX). Not a bad price, but if you don't know how to tune this it's not going to work.
