What are overlays(material), and how are they applied? Does it require removal of the tail lights? Thanks.

Blue Batmobile Jun 14, 2004 04:52 AM

All my Overlays are made from 7 Year High Performance Vinyl. Extremely durable and lasts a long time with no fading or peeling. All Overlays mount to the outside surface. There is no need to remove anything to apply them correctly. Overlays can be removed if desired. Application is Peel and Stick! All kits come with instructions.

See my Overlays at: Bluebatmobile.com

Anyway I can get a full headlight overlay to match?

Realistically, what are the odds that I screw this up when applying it and waste $38? Would you recommend taking it to a tinit shop or similar to do this?

Import-Tooner Jun 14, 2004 09:16 AM

If my G was black I'd do it for sure. Looks great!

I know of some people that have had a tint shop apply them for about $10-$15. Instructions come with the kits. Just take your time!

Get me a test car in San Diego, and some interest from the sedan peeps. If I feel alot of interest, then consider it a done deal;).
