new CE28N's! sorry 56k!

finally, new wheels! was getting real sick of those superlegerra's that i had (19x8, all around :D ). talk about "need a spacer!"

they're gunmetal volk ce28n's, 19x9.5 and 19x10.5, 245/35/19 and 275/35/19, +22 offset all around. i'll measure the lips another day. a little suggestion, try and get at least 255's with a 9.5in wide tire, sheesh! oh well, lesson learned!

i have a few pics, i'll take better ones later (hey, i'm no photgrapher :icon32: )

i agree! hopefully my basics come in today, too!

n1cK!

ps-i'm thinkin' about droppin' about 3/4in to 1in initially, and see where it settles out at, then go from there.

looks fantastic....I like the gunmetal finish, but I am partial! 8)

I went 255 on my 9.5 and it worked out very well. Nice aggressive offsets, if...rather, when...you drop you may have to watch your rear fenders with that offset. My 20x10.5 at +22 had trouble at stock height. When you bring your car down tot he 18s you may have a similar stance...not sure...

thanks, but partial? what do you mean?

it looks like the 255 would work really well, but i was afraid of rubbing. does the 20x9.5 with 255's rub in the front? i think it would, even if you had a very short drop. when it's time for new tires, it'll probably be 255's that go in the front, depending on whether they rub or not. camber and toe arms will definitely be necessary.

no rub at all...but I am at stock height...only had rubbing in the rear

and i am partial because my gt-c's are gunmetal! :D

Hi n1ck!!!

awesome wheels....i was thinking about getting those too....:)

haha...yeah, 245s are barely wide enough for 9inch wide rims, IMO....you need 255s....gotta protect your babies man!!! ;)

i'm not rubbing my front with my set-up...i got 19x9 (22mm offset)with 245/35/19 Toyo Proxes T1-S, and my front is low...

i trimmed the rear fender about 1/4inch on each side, and they're not rubbing either(19x10 (22mm offset) with 275 toyos)....and the rear's set at the lowest setting of my Flex....

and yes, i'm waiting for my camber and toe arms to come in....

n1cK!, I've got the same wheels and tires on the Z. I agree that I'd go with the 255/35/19 next time. The 245 wide front tires looks so streched, and don't offer any protection for the rim. I already have a slight curb rash due to the lack of protection.

So far no rubbing in either ends, but I'm still at stock height. I don't plan to lower the car because I already have trouble clearing some driveways, let alone clear my rhino ramp. also, the G35c wheel gaps seem quite a bit wider than the Z's...maybe you're just not settled in yet. I got a gap of two fingers wide, but would prefer 1 finger wide if I didn't scrape my front all the time.

Any ideas what you might do for center caps? I've left mine open, and even though it's ugly (you can see some rust inside), I'm learning to live with it. I can't justify spending $100+ on just center caps only to get them stolen by some punk

i'm vary wary turning any sharp corners due to the contact patch of the front tire. you're right, it doesn't provide enough protection at all.....i can jus' imagine the horrible sound of metal on asphalt :icon11:

i have a much bigger gap than two fingers, which hopefully i will fix today :D

as for the center caps, i haven't decided yet either. i guess i could go with the "sporty" look and leave 'em off, and i certainly don't want to get them stolen! hell, i have to take off my valve caps to prevent those from getting stolen here in HI as well, sheesh

thanks everyone for the compliments! hoon, stick with your blitz's, they look great! (a little on the heavy side though :D ) and yes, i will be going with 255's, maybe sooner than i think......lookin' at how much that wheel sticks above the ground can get pretty scary! i''m thinkin' about droppin' it about 1in, then seeing where it goes from there. i figure it'll settle out to about 1.25in.

n1cK!

haha....tho mine aren't as light as yours, they are only marginally heavier than the stock 18s....for a 3 piece 19inch rims that are 9 and 10 wide, that's pretty good...:)

just slam the sucka and take lots of pictures....:D
