K&N Filter. Go or No Go. Don't want to void my warranty just yet.
 

Just got my 05 350Z. I am thinking about installing the K&N air filter because CAI will probably void the warranty. Does anyone know if the filter will be an improvement over the stock.

it wont void your warrenty, any dealer who tries to tell you that is an idiot.

So, you don't think the cold air intake will void the warranty? Are you talking about the CAI or the filter for the stock box.

K&N won't hurt a thing....warranty or otherwise...just don't over oil when recharging...and don't expect anything different - except the fact you won't have to replace your airfilter...I too am assuming you mean the drop K&N...which I have now...but upgrading to NISMO CAI!!!

doesnt matter, warranty is not voided. If anything does actually go wrong, it's up to the dealer to prove that the intake caused the damage in order to void your warranty.
