I tried searching but couldn't find it...anyone have a sound clip of an open exhaust (test pipes & no muffler)

Had that done to my car yesterday when they were installing my gaskets. One word describes it "Loud".

 

i saw a clip a bit back...
that was thundering and he wasnt even WOT lol

 

Disconnect the catalytic converter from the exhaust manifold. Drive around the block and let us know how it sounds.

 

it'll sound like a monster truck lol

 

it sounds pretty loud...kinda like a V8, but it still has a distinctive VQ note. I wish someone would release a side exit exhaust w/ resonators and an X pipe lol

 

If I didn't have neighbors I would...back in high school, my friends and I would unbolt my muffler and drive around our other freinds houses to wake them up in the middle of the night (I had a sweet 1990 Geo prism!).
