Thanks to everyone that gave me the idea and the help along the way.

BUT! i got a problem. i started it up and the "service engine soon" light comes on. I've checked all the hoses and connections, and they're all in. anyone know what could be wrong? i'm in the middle of an ECU reset. help please.

after the ecu reset the light didn't come back, but anyone know why it came on in the first place? and if its ok to drive now?

blueper4mancez Jun 12, 2006 06:13 PM

yes sir, you should have disconnect the batter terminal before taking off and install the plenum , should be fine to drive now i'v done that in my 04 db , same thing happened but once i reset the ecu , the car drives perfect.

The pics are pretty and all, but most importantly....how does it perform?

well i don't plan any dyno soon. i don't think i'll ever have an accuate hp gain, except my butt dyno. i havn't pushed it yet, but even when i do, i havn't driven my car for a month, so i'll have bais butt results.

Update? Was it worth it to do all this work.

aleok Jun 14, 2006 06:14 PM

^ ummm yea... it was. since it would have cost twice as much if i shop did it for me. however i did buy a dremel (but that will come in handy later) and about 50+ dollars in sand paper. It was worth it, becasue i can feel the gain, and it looks sexy, and not being able to drive for a month just make it more exciting when i finally get to.
