HFC's w stock exhaust

I wanted to make my car sound deeper and louder without spending over a grand for exhaust. So i decided to go with high flow cats with stock exhaust. I want it to be louder, but not too loud. I wanted to know if anyone has this setup and how the sound is.

Sound clips would be appreciated!

thanks

ive heard test pipes on a stock exhaust, it sounded good. More like a G35/ slightly more aggressive tone. You will like the outcome with either HFC or TP. Test pipes would be cheaper but if you have to deal with emissions then grab the cats.

I dont have sounds clips but the very first modfication I did to my Z were Crawford high flow cats. It didnt change the exhaust note too much, there was a difference, but not a significant difference.

For performance go with test pipes.
If you must pass a visual emissions inspection go with high-flow catalytic converters.

The difference in performance between Test Pipes and HFC are insignificant.

Atleast, from all the research I've done over the years, it seems to be that test pipes might only yield one or two more hp.

^I have also heard that. Thats why i decided to go with HFC's. I don't mind paying a couple hundred more so i don't have to deal with emmissions and the smell.

Fast Intention HFC's. Hands down, the best you can get for the money. Best sound, best quality, best looks, and best pricing, plus the best customer service and quality to back them up! Give Tony a ring and he'll take care of you!

Yes, it's like the stock exhaust sound but louder.

i would love to get those ive also heard a lot of good thingd about them, but i don't want to pay $600 for cats. I would rather pay around $360 for kinetix.

which HFC's have been proven to add the most gains?

i have resonate test pipes with stock exhaust. I think it sounds really good. People always ask what kind of exhaust i have :)

Injen SES. Couldn't be happier with this system. It's deep and smooth and not overly aggresive when your on it.

Slight drone but I can live with it. :)

I am now thinking about going that direction. It will save me hundereds of $ and its not very hard to put the stock cats back on for inspection once a year. What TP's do you have?
