I love mine. I just got the FI HFC's and will install soon.

dspiel, are your tips even?

dikspiel Sep 29, 2007 09:11 AM

ya fitment is perfect

Alberto Sep 29, 2007 09:13 AM

I installed one on my GF's Z last week. It fit PERFECT and looks great. ONly thing I disliked was that the pipes/resonators actually sit on the crossframe under the car and rattle, even though they are under pressure. I'll be pulling that crossframe down again today, and wrapping the pipes in good exhaust wrap to keep the metal on metal sound away...

Did you get test pipes? I have 3 washers under each of the bolts to bring the sub frame down a bit, and even then it would still rattle once in a while on bumps. After I put in the test pipes... the exhaust went up a bit, and no rattle.

Tips get nice and black too...

I had the same problem. Just shim the 4 bolts in the middle and call it a day.
