Headers on the 350Z, worth it?

Unrelated to what you can afford or whats possible, here is what I have and how it came out.
I picked up a set of Strup headers for $100. They are shorty headers but I didn't want long tubes because of inspection reasons in PA (I use hollowed out cats instead). A guy in Philly that is very familiar with VQ's installed my headers for $250. So I have $350 in my entire header setup, so its very possible to do.
As far as what do you get out of headers, you sound like you want it for sound and not performance. In that case, go for it. My headers made a significant increase in the volume of my exhaust. As for performance, I can not say whether it does or does not increase power because I had my car tuned using Uprev at the same time.
