Anyone have info on Nismo's Cat Back Exhaust??
i would do a search but the search engine isnt working....my dealer told me that they will soon be selling the Nismo Cat-Back Exhaust, but all they could give me was a part number....does anyone have any info on hp gains, dyno charts, how it sounds, etc?? Im interested in this and the Borla CB, trying to figure out which one is going to give me better sound and better HP gains...thanks

I think the Weldina (Nismo's) is not a "true" dual just simply a cat-back but I am not 100% sure [on a pic I saw a y-pipe and such]. If you are really itching to know I say wait for both and do a compare then buy the one you want or you might regret it later. However, the Borla is AWESOME... have a prototype on my G35C. But Nismo can't be bad either, however I would go with Borla since it will be about 1/3 the price of the Nismo cat-back. remember if you go Borla get the TRUE DUAL (140045) (unsure about the number) not the ordinary cat-back (140041 (?)).

If you do want the NISMO I can get it for you for 925 which is only 300 more than the cheaper Borla prices.

I saw it in person at Performance Nissan. It looks like very good quality, made by Weldina but it is not a true Dual. I was in and out very quickly so I don't have any other info.

Sorry about the pricing misinformation I gave... I took the price from http://www.i-m-racing.com/niswelstains.html which clearly states 1800 (or ~3X the Borla). Again sorry as I was just trying to help.
Reading from another post found here , I found out the Weldina goes for $1100 (retail) here in the US and goes for the $1800 range in Japan. :) |
Thats ok imracing are pricing rapists.
