Nice write up and review. I think this a great mod to do. The customer service and help you get from the company (Hydrazine) should put anyone at ease thinking about doing this mod. Well worth it.

Its the middle bolt that you need to adjust. First loosen up the lock nuts on the left and right side of the tensioner bolt.

Then, while standing in front of the car, put a crescent wrench on on the tensioner bolt and pull the wrench toward you. When you do this you will see the strut bar move upward and away from your plenum.

This is what will give you the clearance you need to get rid of that vibration.

Excellent info right there!! I've been looking everywhere on how to adjust it, and if i can adjust it. Thanks!!

Edit: I put two washers/spacers under the strutbar for clearance. Could i take out those washers/spacers and adjust the strut bar to clear the plenum? Or should i just leave in the spacers/washers?

Its probably best to leave them in place. You should have something there to lift up the bar when a spacer is used.

Are you talking abou the spacers that Motordyne sent you with the kit, or some other spacers / washers? I can't speak on anything other than the spacers motordyne supplied, but as far as I can tell the strut bar alone does not have enough adjustability to clear the plenum without using spacers underneath it.

I'm not going to take out the washers/spacers supplied with my spacer. I'll just adjust the strutbar a little bit for the added clearance i need. I just need to adjust the strutbar a hair, so it doesn't occassionally vibrate/rumble

So now that I have done my install also I notice that the bottom end has a much stronger pull, also the engine idle stays at about 1k now & before it was about 750 - 800 rpms. Anybody else notice this, is the gas mileage also going to be worse than before the mod? I realize now the milage is slightly different, but hoping i will eventually idle like before & the mileage will come back to me. I also cleaned the throttle body with a full can of carb cleaner, I suppose this was a good thing, right???

Cleaning the TB can cause the change in idle. Try the TB calibration reset procedure.

Gas milage will be better if you drive exactly the same as before. But if you slam the gas pedal and use the extra power the mod makes, your MPG will go down.

I have been keeping my eye on the mpg meter over the past week since I installed this stuff, and i have noticed that under normal 'tame' driving my gas mileage has gone up maybe 0.2 or 0.3 mpg on average. For my mixed highway / town driving (I live in the suburbs) I used to get about 20.6, now I'm up around 20.9. Of course once in a while my foot gets sucked to the floor and I'm right back down to 20.6 : )

Very good test you did there.

That's what I measured with well controlled test conditions, on a load dyno.

Having the luxury of using a load dyno, with a Cipher data loger, to control/monitor the many variables, makes it a lot easier to hold test conditions constant.

one day we need to get a stock revup vrs a 5/16th mrev2 revup so we can see the pull. I been waiting for a vid for the longest. Someone hook it up. If any revup wants to run me with a revup mrev2 and 5/16 i would love to here it and vid it . its long over do.

No videos that I know of, but it's been independantly dynod countless times. Many of the plots are shown in the dyno section of the MD website.

The latest pre/post dyno I know of was by Julian @ MRC.
He posted his results in this forum just a few months ago. Did you see his test results?

im kinda of a noob at this but i got the powerlab plenum spacer, is it possible to use the mrev lower manifold along with the powerlab plenum?
