The two pipes combine into one for about a foot and then back into dual.

Don't hold your breath. After seeing this car in person today and being able to spend a good 30 minutes up close inspecting the undercarriage it will be difficult for aftermarket companies to create a catback exhaust for this car.

damn those tips are ugly.....at least they match the car though :(

Looks like the tips are spaced too wide apart. At least they're even on both sides, but seem too far apart for the cut-outs in the bumper. I'd hate to see that after spending over 1g on an exhaust. Hope it's not a production part in those pictures.

they look like canadian tire tips. the inward round off is terrible. also, the chrome muffler looks cheesed out, black is the way to go IMO

It's never been TRUE Dual to begin with...
It's 2 into 1 into 2 into single muffler into 2 tips.....what a strange concept.

black06z 12-13-2008 09:25 PM

Just from looking at the rear, it already looks like a complicated process. Even a custom "2 muffler" job would be tough. I wouldn't dare spend big bucks on a stock looking muffler anyways. It seems like 2 mufflers would be the way to go on such a wide rear end to even everything out. The muffler in the first post looks pretty small & wimpy.
