i've been reading the threads on intakes and most of you seem to have aem or injen cold air intakes. I've read that there has been some problems with the injen intakes(are they fixed)...Is the(Weapon-R Dragon Intake System)any good? thank you~

 

Weapon-R is stuff that teenagers put on their Civics.

At one time Weapon-R made an excellent air filter........not that ridiculous looking Dragon thing, but the V-2.........the V-2 at the time it was released had a higher cfm flow than almost all other filters being made........on my other car i swapped out the HKS mushroom filter for the V-2, and it was a pretty noticeable difference.

 

Weapon-R is a more of a show piece than a performance piece.

Also the Weapon-R only comes in a short ram. They currently don't have an application for the 350z. However if you want Leo @ Weapon-R can build you one.

That's my opinion. On my buddy's Acura 3.2 CL-S that thing droned like a UFO. Personally I would not want that on the Z.

 

We actually do have an application for both the 350Z and G35...in both the Dragon, and our new Secret Weapon.....and I beg to differ that this is just a "show piece". Our Secret Weapon intake has shown to improve the flat spotting that many intakes make...as well as providing power throughout the powerband...not just a section like most intakes. Check out an independent review by both a 350Z and a G35 owner....

We will be doing a dyno test with the 350Z owner soon to compare stock, POP Charger, and our Secret Weapon...I may do the Dragon Intake also.
