hks hi power and berks hfc's
 

hey guys, my Z is my DD but id like the car to have a little bit more growl to it. So, i was looking at upgrading the nismo exhaust that i have right now to the hks high power dual and was also planning on throwing a berks high flow cat in there. What my question is, will it be too loud? I mean i want a little more growl but i dont want to be heard 5 blocks away and id rather not set off car alarms while rolling by. Anyway im still new with the exhaust system and wanted to make sure that's all i need or if i need any other pipes to finish it off?

nismo and berks for the win!!! sounds like sex not too loud cruising around or drone but when u lay into it very loud and sounds amazing..i have clips but there on my camcorder which i cannot transfer to my computer gotta figure it out..

HKS + HFC? You should be fine.

Wish I could tell you... I have the HKS hi power catback on the HR, just waiting for the BERK HFC's and a few other things to get installed at this time. Should be out of the shop soon...

Do it! Hell, ditch the HFC and go with test pipes.

Selling BRAND NEW Berk HFCs for the HR. Berk is supposed to ship them to me this week. LMK if anyone wants them.

I have HKS, Berk High flows, popcharger, and AAm spacer. It sounds loud when you want it @ WOT and under normal driving (shifting @ 3-4000rpms) is perfect with no drone while freeway driving. I live in Cali and have had two cops within the last 3 days follow me for 1 mile or so and did nothing because it is not a fart canon with bees fighting inside. IMO perfect sound for the Z unless you can afford Amuse Ti exhaust.

Sounds like ass with my setup on the HR... This is just MHO.

heard the hks on a g37 this past weekend

im sure it sounds a little diff than it would on a Z, but man it did sound good to me

HOWEVER, there was quite some rasp. those with hks and berk, is it very raspy for you guys too? I kno that the HKS tends to be very raspy with test pipes

hmm well im definitely gonna start out with berks hfc's and ill stick em with my nismo... i can wait a bit on the hks haha and put money towards something else for now lol
