Any Single Exhausts that aren't loud?

Looks like I'll have to get rid of my Nismo exhaust in preparation of the powerlab ST kit. It seems a single exhaust is the way to go to fully optimize the single turbo but I'm not looking forward of loosing the Nismo sound.

All of the single exhaust sound clips I've heard personally are a bit "ricey" and loud. Can anyone suggest a cat back or muffler that does NOT sound to loud? I'll need to be running 3" exhaust all the way for the powerlab as well.

Thoughts?

Single exhausts by nature are loud. Having a turbo should actually quiet it down in normal day to day driving, compared to NA. You could always have a resonator welded in if its still too loud for you.

The Full-Ti is the sex, but $1780 is a little more than $1200. The above can come with and without resonators.

Nice find Slide, I'll take it into consideration. My buddy suggested an exhaust cutout which I may look into also:

On a side note I called Intense already about a custom exhaust but its the sound I'm worried about. Apexi N1 with 3" piping

I dont think my GReddy Ti-C is all that loud, and thats without the silencer. My :twocents: :dunno:

all singles are loud. why? 3" inch piping is the norm. any less then you would have an exhaust system that performs worse than stock.

just get a jic stainless/ti exhauts with resonator and a motordyne ypipe with a resonator. plus as 0jiggy0 stated the turbo's will quite it down a bit.

Right now I'm leaning towards the AAM competition cat back with resonator.

Motordyne , the gamma isn't to bad with test pipes and the resonater on the XYZ pipe. Then you could also run the motordyne VQ exhaust if you really wanted to shut the car up. Even better , the shockwave when take it to the track.

Go Greddy TiC with XYZ pipe with res and keep ur stock cats. It will sound PERFECT

I have a JIC full ti with the JIC y pipe, it's a bit loud but i dont drive my car during the wk so for wknd driving and race days it's perfect for me.
