Will this work for the HR's Test Pipe problems??
Before I get to my point, I am NOT about performance but sound since my 350z is my daily driver.
I have read threads on several 350z that passed the emission test with test pipes, but those are 03-05 350z. Since I have an 08, I have notice 06+ have trouble even with the two additional bolts connected to the O2 sensors, which is my concern. My question is if we have a tuner program can we shut off the engine code pertaining to the test pipes to block out the engine light and pass the emission test or will we still not pass the emission test? |
Do some research on Motordyne ART pipes. This may be your best option.

I rather get Berks since they sound the best on a Z.

Has anyone pass the emission problem for 06+ engines?

i passed with berk test pipes but i have an 04 so i guess that doesnt help :dunno: look on the bright side you have an hr

Can't use the shutoff to pass. Use the Brillo trick that's what I do. ART pipes aren't auto anti-cel

You'll still get the light if you use a test pipe. Yes you can turn them off with a tuner program. Passing emissions will depend on your state.

I have an 08 but went with Berk HFCs instead of test pipes. Maybe get those instead if you're concerned about a CEL.
|
you can turn the code off (rear o2) with any uprev tune
