ST, 3" downpipe.. Exhaust
 

I currently have an exhaust I really like... I've had it for a while, Fast Intentions 3" dual exhaust. I regret buying the 3" version, but at the time I was spending money like crazy on my Z and had thoughts of a twin turbo setup...At least that's what I tell myself. Well I have slowed way down on my Z over the past 3 years but picking it back up lately.

I do not know what to do with my exhaust and the 3" single turbo downpipe. Being that I already have a nice sounding, looking exhaust I was thinking of a reverse y-pipe. The problem I see is the downpipe is 3" and both exhaust pipes are 3", will I lose power due to turbulence? Is it even a concern???

The alternative is a quiet exhaust in that if a Fujitsubo. The thought is hear more turbo then exhaust but the fast intentions is not too loud.

Am I over thinking this one? Is the 3" DP into a 3" dual exhaust even worth the trouble of buying a whole new exhaust over a few hp loss.

You will not lose hp (worth mentioning) with a reverse y coming out of a single turbo.
