Btw, those with motordyne exhausts or those who had heard it on the road, what do you think of it? I know most reviews say its the best mod ever and the sound is nothing youve ever heard before, but I heard it on a g37 and a z the past month and it was nothing special. Not trying to bash, but I might have hyped myself up too much. I was expecting this phenomenal sound thats never been heard before on a z, and honestly it sounded like a nismo exhaust with hfc. It had a deep, crisp, growl to it but its not exotic sounding like everyone says it is, not even close. Just wanted to see if anyone else thought the motordyne sounds like a nismo....
It makes every other exhaust for the Z sound like crap. I do have ART Pipes tho, so you need to hear it for yourself. HKS knockoff exhausts to me sound like the new ricer civics. It's your $ we can only offer you suggestions. If your Z is a keeper, then do it right. You'll just have regret the day you hear a real Motordyne setup vs what you cheaped out on.
Also another exhaust to consider if you ballin is the Meisterschaft. However those run up to $2.5-3k and is much more aggressive / louder than the Motordyne. Price tag is likely why not many have it here.
I was going to get one of these but I decided to pony up the extra $$$ and buy the Invidia Gemini system (I haven't heard one negative comment on this system). Waiting to get this installed next week on my car.
i have the invidia with art pipes, i really like it but going to swap to motordyne in the near future
