HFC/Exhaust combo for FI
All,
I will soonish be getting a supercharger into my 2007 HR and the shop told me that a HFC/Exhaust setup was strongly preferred. Currently I have K&N Drop filters on, and stock cats/exhaust. I've been reading a lot about different HFC/Exhaust setups (borla, stillen, HKS, Motordyne) and it gets confusing to know which are the "best" due to peoples preferences and retarded posts. My criteria for 'best' are:
1) Lack of drone/rasping at any rpm
2) Performance for FI
3) Price
4) Excessively loud noise (civic rice)
I've heard reports of rasping from stillen and borla, but others say they are fine, and some people keep saying get motordyne. If I get motordyne, how do the ART pipes/XYZ Pipe HFC/Exhaust all fit together? Looking at all of the 3 pieces, I'm still puzzles how they all assemble. I see posts of ART/Exhaust combos which is why I'm confused about the XYZ Pipe HFC.

LOL i emailed Motordyne asking them the same question. This was their actual response, love the honesty
"The XYZ pipe modules are not compatible with the full exhaust. They are for use on the stock exhaust or other single exhausts.
You don’t really need them anyways."
