MotorDyne and Kinetix Racing build questions
I have:
2003 Z33 Touring
88900 miles w/
Nismo C.A.I
Stillen Y-Pipe
Nismo Exhaust
Looking for any info, help and/or comments on what I want to do...
My intentions are to extract as much as I can from Engine without forced induction, cams or using a crawford plenum.
MotorDyne MRev2
MotorDyne 5/16" Spacer (Probably copper, I store in non climate garage, NY)
Kinetix Racing V+ Plenum
NWP Engineering 75mm Throttle Body
Has anyone done this before?
Can it be done?
can I still use OEM engine cover and strut bar??
Thanks guys

I might be wrong but you can't use a spacer with their upper plenum, other than that it looks like a solid list. Just FYI you don't need the copper as the NWP TB has the heat running thru it instead of the manifold. Another thing to consider would be a tune and switching to a bigger intake like the admin.

You will not be above 250 ish or so whp no matter what you do. Look up cost per hp on the z and you will be butthurt.
on my hr, i spent 3200 on "power adding" bolt ons and a tune and only gained 17 whp ending up with 286.
if you want cheap power, sell the z because its not going to happen on this platform

Per Z1's site, the Kinetix V+ manifold doesn't fit the NRG strut bar. The stock bar would be fine. You can upgrade headers, unless the cost of headers and install is too high. I've never heard of anyone running the MREV2 in combination with the V+ plenum, the results would be interesting to see.
