Default Take it to a shop

I took mine to a shop and they did it in about an hour. It was only like a hundred dollars. It looked like it might be kind of a pain and they can weld the exhaust together insted of useing the fasteners. Your going to love it, it sounds great. I got mine right when I got the car so it's hard to tell any power difference, but it is worth the price.

couple jackstands and a couple hours taking your time will do it. Very easy. Me and a friend of mine did it in about 20mins with no lift. No welding though.

The only problem I had was taking off the old one. Everything else is pretty easy. Just make sure you tighten the clamps so the pipes don't get loose. It is a plus if you have an impact wrench.

good luck

It should be really easy for a muffler shop, about 30 minutes max. Stillen does them in about 15-20 minutes too, and most of that time was taking the old one off. If you try it yourself, make sure you spray down the bolts first with WD40 and the rubber hangers too so it'll help slip the muffler off easier. Have a friend hold the muffler while you pry the muffler off the hanger with a long breaker bar, because that sucker is heavy. It can be done on jack stands, but i think it's worth paying a muffler shop to install it. If they quote you over an hour, forget it, it's not that hard.

Our shop guys do a exhaust at Stillen in less than a half and hour with no problems. You should do this yourself with no problems rather than shelling out some money for a shop to do this. A good jack and some stands and you should get it done. Please remind yourself to USE jack stands since hydraulic jacks tend to go down and that would be a ugly site.....good luck with the install.
