I installed my JIC y-pipe last night. It is a very nice looking piece. The welds are clean I love the way it looks. It came with all the hardware needed to do the install.
The sound is great. I already had the RSR exhaust on and the y-pipe deepend the sound a little bit. It's about as loud as when I first put the RSR exhaust on. The sound had mellowed a little bit since I first put it on but now it sounds like it use to.
The y-pipe is 80mm where it connects to the mid pipe so it will work with 70mm (like the RSR) or 80mm.

It'll certainly work ... however, you now have an abrupt step transition from 80mm to 70mm. It's not a critical issue but still something to think about. I currenty have the similiar issue with mine ... but will have it addressed soon.
congrats...thats a nice y pipe...i went with the fuji cuz i have the fuji cat back but i haven't had a chance to install it yet

Mine doesn't have any rasp, but I haven't had it over 5000 rpm yet. I was drinking when I installed it and didn't want to attract any attention on my way home.
