Kinetix SSV

5 Attachment(s)
Selling my used Kinetix SSV manifold (older version). It's in good condition and everything is perfect mechanically. I am unsure the mileage or age on it since it came with the car. To be basically brand new all it would need is a quick polish. Comes with the 6 allen head bolts.

Asking $485 + shipping.

What is the difference between this model and the revised one?

Carfreak70852 08-10-2014 01:57 PM

To my understanding they added a taper to the new one so the plenum area gets narrower towards the end. I'm not sure exactly how it stacks up against the new one numbers wise.

FYI, For whomever buys this part, you might want To contact Kinetix, as they might offer a program that if you send them this older model they will upgrade you to the newer version for a small fraction of the cost of a new one..... Just saying... Worth looking into, I know they DID it for the Kinetix V+ models..... As a matter of fact, PM Me your best price, I will send a FedEx shipping label.. .. Thanks!

How do you know this is the older version?
Is there a distinct difference in the appearance?

The plenum does not taper on mine (measured it). If you check out the pics on Kinetix site of the new one you can noticeably see the taper. On my pics, especially the second one, there is no visible taper.

edit: didn't log out of friends account lol

Oh gotcha. When did they come out with the new version?

I'm not sure. Maybe a couple years ago?
