Nissan's warranty actually working??

Hey guys- I thought I'd share my experience with Downtown LA Nissan. My Z has about 25K miles on it and I took the car in for it's scheduled maintainence and oil change. I just noted to the service guy about slight annoyances like the navigation door operating unsmoothly and door lock becoming stuck some times. I also casually mentioned the gear grinds slightly when I shift from 2nd to 3rd. I thought it was no big deal, and the grind usually went away when I depressed the clutch all the way down. So I assume they were gonna give me the run-around and tell me to depress the clutch more, or at best replace my clutch. Well, I called today to see if I could pick up the car, and the guy Cris stated that he called NNA, trying to persuade them to give me a new transmission and clutch gear. I was unbelievably STOKED, yet confused, because my transmission didin't feel like it was slipping or anything. Anyways, I won't have my car back for a week or so, but can't wait to test out the new transmission when I get it back. YEAAAAA!

YOu are one lucky customer. Call back the dealer and praise the mechanic.
