What's with my gas tank?
 

I've filled my gas tank twice since buying my car. Both times the empty light was on, so the levels were pretty much the same. The first time I could only fit 14 gallons in and the second time I could only fit in 12 gallons.

Isn't this a 20 gallon tank? The reserve amount can't be that big, can it? On top of that I can't get the gas gauge to come completely to the F, it seems to stop around the 7/8 mark.

Mine does the same thing on occasion, there is a TSB for it. Mine only seems to do it if I try to fill up before my empty light comes on. Try not sticking the nozzle all the way into the tank, it seems to work for me...

Heh, that's common with these. Do a search and you will find several threads about it. I even started one of them.
