Bolts securing underpanel

I'm about to do my first oil change and I noticed that my underpanel was dragging on the ground, seems likes some of the bolts just naturally loosened up and fell out. I want to avoid buying them at the dealer, so does anyone here know the size and length? I know there's 14, are they all the same?

They are all the same. Is this a new car, as in you've only had it 3000 miles and are about to do the first oil change ever? That's odd that the bolts would have worked loose that quickly and fallen out already.

No, it's not new, but it's the first oil change I'll be doing since ownership. Car has 29k on it. Do you happen to know the exact name of the replacement bolts and cost? I just dont want to get screwed by the dealer, maybe I can buy the parts from a hardware store?

If I remember correctly, they have integral washers with them. The dealer is the only place you're going to find exact matches. Otherwise, you can get some from any hardware store - just remember to get some washers so the heads won't pull through the plastic.

The part number for the screws is 01456-00691 There are 14 of them attaching the lower engine cover. Cost is less than a dollar each through the dealer. The clip in the center of the lower engine cover is part number 01553-09321 is also less than a dollar from the Nissan dealer.-

Awesome, thanx guys. I called 3 local Nissan dealers here in Orange County and all the parts guys said they had to be special order, I'm like WTF? I have to go down there to buy a filter and crush washer anyway and end up taking one of the bolts with me, so I ask the parts guy if he can match this up for me and Poof! He happens to have 4 left which is exactly the amount I needed. Go figure, this is after they said they had to special order when I spoke to them on the phone.

Anyway, got the first oil change out of the way and have a secure underpanel once again. I might mention that I bought some gray Rhino Ramps from Autozone that worked great, but they kept on sliding as I tried to drive up on them, so I cut some pieces of spare carpet I had lying around and placed the ramps on top of the carpet pieces and the Z rolled up nice and smooth.

They probably keep a few around for when their own techs loose one. They don't show up in regular stock, hence the special order note.

I put my Rhino ramps up against a small ridge that separates two sections of the driveway, that keeps them from sliding until the car gets up the ramp a little and locks it down.

Nice idea on the ramps....Thanks!
