What's up with this Sulfur smell?
 

This sulfur smell is somewhat embarrasing. Several friends have mentioned that my car smells like it just let a big fart when they get out. I have an Injen intake on my car. Could that be making my car run rich and thus smell of flatus?

How new is your car? My Z has just under 300 miles and the smell seems to be receding. Its less and less noticable in time. The smell isn't quite like sulfur to me. Its just the preservative or whatever that has to burn out of the exhaust system or its the cat breaking-in. I'm assuming your car as at least as new as mine.

it would be the cat getting broken in, give it time, it should go away by 400miles.

its worse if you push the car... makes the cat hotter, and smells more... go test drive a brand new car, beat the hell out of it, and smell, itll be aweful.

it could be the speedy gonzales with beans lunch special from casa grande :D but its more likely the exhaust system.
