 As some of you know,my car died at sonic... & I'm very paranoid about anything being wrong w/ my car, hoping to god I just need a new battery ... But I just looked this link up, tell me what you think. My car was cranking really weak for a week, then it wouldnt crank at all (present). If someone jumpstarts my car, then I'm fine.. unteal I turn it off, wont crank again, just makes a click sound.

Waking up early tomarrow, hope nissan can fix my problem:(

You need a new battery its that simple, nissan is going to rape you for like 85 bucks + the cost of the battery just go get one and do it yourself. My car did the same thing. I bet your car has never had the OEM battery changed out and its what? 4 years old now? battery = dead.

+1

The fix is simply installing a new battery. The question now is: "What battery to install?"

The list is terrible. The service bulletins are referred to as recalls when they are not. And the list is incomplete. See: http://www.nissanhelp.com/Bulletins/350Z/

Great link... Thanks for posting this (I've put into My Favorites for quick reference). The link covers a lot of problems described by users on this Forum. I didn't see any reference to battery replacement problems (maybe I missed it).

have Kragen or Autozone check your charging system first before buying a replacement battery. i'd go for a redtop Optima battery.

man wtf I'm having a same fuking issues.. I thought it was alternator but seeing your problem, it might be my battery.. It seems like the battery is charging.. but if I don't drive it for couple of hours, it dies..
