Help! Can't match the Service codes???
 

Hi,
My SES light came on a few days ago. Did the research here on how to check the codes using the ignition system and accelerator pedal to put the system into diagnostic mode. I was able to get the system to start blinking out the code(s). This is what I noted:

System will continually repeat it's pattern.
Starting with:
10 slow blinks followed by
1 slow blink
8 fast blinks
3 fast blinks
2 slow blinks
10 fast blinks
10 fast blinks
1 blink
then a pause and 10 slow blinks again followed by the repeating pattern above.

I think the codes are
183
2001
This possibly is interpreted as
1(first code) 83
2(second code) 001
I'm just not sure??????
These numbers do not match up with any numbers on the posted lists of service codes I've found on this forum? Am I reading this wrong?
Please let me know.
I have the 35th Anniversary Edition 2005 with the Rev up engine.

You live California. California is a very populated state. I'm sure there are AutoZones in your area. Go there and they'll do a scan free of charge.

do you have a fax #. .i can fax you how to retrieve and how to read the codes. .but my shop key wont let me copy n paste it in the forum. . .
