Default I think I am screwed, and I dont know what to do.

One day my Check Engine light comes on in my car. No problem, I get a code reader, and scan for the code.

I get one P2135 (and another pending) for a "Throttle Position Sensor low Voltage Metering"

and a

P1211 Air Fuel Metering.

The car will not get out of limp mode. The p2135 and P2135 "Pending" will not clear with my Autozone scanner and since those wont clear, the car wont get out of limp.

I have replaced throttle bodys. So is it the pedal? Do I have a short if the TPS is not getting the proper voltage? How do I check for the pedal?

2ndly are the ECU's swapable? I. e. can I get a used ECU?

Now I know that if the car doesnt have more then 8 volts when the vehicle starts, it will throw specifically the TPS code. But my battery is fine, and the connections are good. I have a UTEC. I disconnected it and am running off strictly ECU, but to no avail the car is still doing it. I dont know what to do. How do I replace the pedal? Or atleast check the grounds?

We plugged the car into my buddys OBD 2 thing on his lap top, and as we were driving, I would press the gas and the car would only read 80% sometimes 60% and as low as 50% when I had the peddle down to the floor. This is a sure sign that the pedal sensor is bad, RIGHT?

Anyway help please, or the car I swear is gonna be traded in on an Evo... And I dont want to let it happen but I am to that point.

Why do you not think it is your MAF?

+1 Sounds like a MAF issue.

Don't trade in your car - just replace your TPS.

Never thought about the MAF, but why would I be throwing a P2135 TPS low voltage?

Ok I get it, becuause P1211 is a MAF code. It rarely comes on. It's mostly the P2135 that pops up in the scanner. For example sometimes it will say 4 codes found and those being the 1211's and the 2135's. But for most of the time its just 2135.

I will go check the MAF right now. But I think it's a short in the Pedal TPS, cause like I said I changed TB's, soo it's gotta be a wire somewhere.

So far THANK YOU for those who have replied. I was a little nervous cause no one replied, so thanks for the advice.

I'm sorry the second code that comes up, like I said it's rare, but it comes up is not P1211, it is P1122 Throttle acuator.

P1122 is an Electronic Throttle Control Actuator code. I'd suggest you just try and reset the ECU (use the procedure I linked). It may just need to relearn after the TB replacement.
