Gas pedal wasn't responding!!

driving along the freeway on 6th gear, slowing down for traffic which i let off the gas pedal but when i pressed down the gas pedal...the car didn't respond.:icon27: assumed it was on neutral :( but looked down to see that it was still in 6th gear. So i pumped the gas pedal..the RPM gauge didn't move at all. soo after few seconds and a few gas pumping on the pedal it began to rev. again. Sooo, anyone here in the forum have it happen to them???:dunno: my Z is an 06 enth. have a injen CAI & TPs. Anything i should be worrying about or looking into?? :( Thanks in advantage & greatly appreciate for those who helps out!

how slow did you actually "slow for traffic"? 6th won't do much if you're in stop and go traffic :)

im not sure how fast i was going..but i remember that the rpm was above 2k. well..i have some kind of theory..and it is that i have 19in rim and maybe it may have not been properly balanced right and may cause my traction control to throw off the gas responses. sounds kind of logical??
